TREENET’s 23rd National Street Tree Symposium is 2 weeks away and we’re excited to bring you our first face-to-face event since 2019! The combination of National Wine Centre and Botanic Gardens as our venues is really special. Hear leading experts speak about how the pandemic and recent extreme weather events strengthen the case for greener, more liveable cities and towns. As usual, we have a good balance of research and practice – from selecting tree species and improving climate resilience policy, restoring soil microbiomes to improve the health of citizens and of trees, and providing connected green spaces for nature and people. Check out the full program below and share with colleagues. Enjoy this August edition of TREENET News, and please forward the link to your friends and contacts who are interested in trees and urban forestry.
