The 20th National Street Tree Symposium Gala Dinner promises to be a great social and networking event – and you can be part of it!

The Gala Dinner will be held after the Day One Symposium proceedings from 6pm – 10pm.

Dress code: Neat casual

3 Course set menu including Entree, Main Course, two side dishes and Dessert served with Freshly Brewed Coffee, T2 Tea Section and Assorted Chocolates; limited beer and wine included.

Dietary needs as advised will be catered for.

Loads of prizes to be won on the night.  (Silent Auction & Raffle).

A small ensemble from the Unley Concert Band will perform at the commencement of the event.

Guest speaker: Dr Lyndal Plant

Lyndal is an urban forester and has worked in local government policy and strategic planning for urban trees, including many years within the Brisbane City Council.
Now a researcher and consultant, Lyndal has helped advance urban forest evidence gathering techniques and making stronger business cases for investment in green infrastructure.
Lyndal now focuses on policy development/review and cutting-edge urban forest initiatives. She sees the forest, not just the trees – helps plan and monitor outcomes, not just outputs and focuses on trees for people (“human habitat” values) and is committed to greener, cooler neighbourhoods for all.
Lyndal has presented to local, national and international audiences and her research has been published in peer –reviewed journals.
