Treenet Membership
Treenet Membership is open to organisations and individuals who support research and education to protect and improve Australia’s urban forests. As a non-profit, charitable organisation it is member support that resources Treenet’s work to ensure urban forests in Australian cities and towns continue to benefit communities.

Corporate membership is open to businesses and teams that support best practice and ongoing improvement in urban tree management. Membership provides Treenet a solid industry base and resources to support our aims to:
- advocate for and promote the values of the urban forest within communities
- share information across a broad range of disciplines which impact on urban trees to support tree establishment, retention and protection
- initiate, facilitate, manage and report on relevant research
- disseminate new knowledge online, through annual symposia and by other means
- initiate and collaborate on projects that help to deliver sustainable urban forests  Â
Member benefits
- one complimentary registration to Treenet’s National Street Tree Symposium
- discounted registration fee for the member’s staff to attend the National Street Tree Symposium (discounts exceed membership price if 3 or more delegates attend the symposium*)
- right to receive notice of and to vote at General Meetings
- recognition as a Treenet Corporate Member on our website (your logo linked to your website)
- networking opportunities at annual symposia
Cost: $1600 (exc GST)
*Note: 2022 full symposium registration cost was $1,295. Institutional Membership cost is $1,600 or $305 more than symposium registration. Member discount on symposium registration was 15% or a saving of $194.25 per registration, so three delegates attending the symposium as members would have saved $83
Government membership is open to councils and state and federal government departments that support best practice and ongoing improvement in urban tree management. Membership provides Treenet a solid industry base and resources to support our aims to:
- advocate for and promote the values of the urban forest within communities
- share information across a broad range of disciplines which impact on urban trees to support tree establishment, retention and protection
- initiate, facilitate, manage and report on relevant research
- disseminate new knowledge online, through annual symposia and by other means
- initiate and collaborate on projects that help to deliver sustainable urban forests  Â

- initiate, facilitate, manage and report on relevant research
- disseminate new knowledge online, through annual symposia and by other means
- initiate and collaborate on projects that help to deliver sustainable urban forests  Â

- discounted registration to the National Street Tree Symposium (the cost of membership will be deducted from one registration fee) Â
Cost:
- 12-month membership $130;Â
- 12-month student/retired membership $70;
- 5-year membership $600;
- 5-year student/retired membership $300.
