Lilith is a Horticulturist at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, currently tending to the First Creek Wetland and International Rose Garden. Outside the Botanic Gardens she is a passionate advocate for native revegetation of verges and volunteer grower for Trees For Life.

Discover the diversity of Australian plants including spectacular trees dating back to the original plantings of the Garden over 150 years ago, as well as trees from across Australia. This session will focus on how the arboretum’s living specimens and consider succession planning in the context of short v’s long term planning.
- Habitat pruning to retain and create opportunities for our resident fauna utilising experienced arborists to create these habitats:
- Sensitivity around labelling and protecting trees though attaching labels without nailing and at height to avoid vandalism;
- Successional planning through selecting species that match the light levels in a given location, whilst utilising the benefit that the canopy provides in creating a microclimate.
