Peter Alan Lawton, our friend, colleague and a long-time TREENETer, passed away on Wednesday 11th May at 93 years of age.
Peter was an inspiration. His work ethic and his love of progress drove his personal commitment to advancing nursery technology and practice in the pursuit of the highest quality tree stock. Peter contributed his time and expertise freely; he volunteered with TREENET from its early days, and he contributed to symposia which he attended regularly. Peter was an honorary life member of TREENET. The TREENET Team extends its sincerest condolences to Peter’s family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Peter.
